Request FeatureFrequently Asked Questions
How does automatic turn and serve rotation work?
When turn tracking is enabled on a game rule (such as Table Tennis 11 or 21), PlyTurn counts total points scored and rotates service automatically based on your preset interval (every 2 or 5 points). During deuce (sudden death), service swaps on every single point. You can also manually swap serve anytime with the "Swap Serve" button.
Can I create custom scoring rules for my own games?
Yes! PlyTurn includes a powerful Custom Match Builder where you can define target scores, win-by margins, turn rotation intervals, and winning conditions (First to target, Highest score, Lowest score, or Elimination).
Does PlyTurn require an internet connection?
No! PlyTurn is completely offline-first. All match data, player stats, and archives are saved directly on your local device with no cloud server dependencies.
How does the Head-to-Head Rivalry Comparer work?
Head to the Profiles screen, select any two players, and tap "Compare Rivalry". PlyTurn aggregates all past matches between those two players and generates a win-rate ratio bar with head-to-head score breakdowns.
What happens if I accidentally enter the wrong score?
Every point change is pushed to PlyTurn's in-memory Undo & Redo stack. Simply tap the Undo button at the bottom of the Live Game arena to revert the score and restore the previous server.
