At PlyTurn, I believe your competitive matches and game nights are private. That's why PlyTurn is built to be 100% local-first and privacy-focused by default.
1. Local-First Data Storage
All your user data—including custom player profiles, match scores, game rules presets, round histories, and calendar logs—is stored exclusively on your device using AsyncStorage. PlyTurn does not upload your Personally Identifiable Information (PII), match stats, or gameplay logs to external servers.
2. No Cloud Mandate or Mandatory Accounts
You do not need to register, provide an email address, create an account, or log in to use PlyTurn. All features, presets, theme configurations, and archives function completely offline.
3. What I Do Not Collect
- I do not track your location or GPS data.
- I do not track personal identities or harvest contact lists.
- I do not sell your match data or player records to third-party advertisers.
- I do not embed aggressive telemetry or behavioral trackers.
4. Hardware Permissions
PlyTurn uses standard device vibration APIs purely for tactile haptic feedback during point increments and turn swaps. You can toggle haptics and sounds on or off at any time from the in-app Settings screen.
5. Your Control & Data Erasure
You maintain full control of your records. From the PlyTurn Settings screen, you can at any time:
- Clear All Match History: Erases past scores and calendar markers while preserving players and rules.
- Reset All App Data: Restores factory defaults and wipes all stored local state.
